The City Keeps Time

Ultra Large Format - Limited Edition Print of 5

London moves constantly, yet some moments feel anchored.
Still. Measured. Unrushed.

The City Keeps Time captures that quiet authority. Light settles across the river, reflections stretch and soften, and the city reveals a rare sense of order within its intensity. It is not about movement, but about presence. A photograph designed to sit calmly in a space and reveal more over time, rather than demand attention.

This edition is about scale and restraint. Produced at its largest expression, it allows the image to breathe, to hold the wall with confidence, and to shape the atmosphere of a room rather than decorate it.

Print quality and finish

The City Keeps Time is produced using one of the highest quality photographic printing processes available.

Printed on Fuji Crystal Pearl photographic paper, chosen for its exceptional colour depth, tonal smoothness, and ability to render fine detail with clarity.
This paper has a subtle pearlescent finish that enhances contrast and luminosity, making light sources and reflections feel almost backlit.

Each print is then face mounted behind polished acrylic glass, a process that increases perceived depth, sharpness, and richness of colour. The acrylic is optically clear and shatter resistant, allowing the image to sit forward in the space with a refined, gallery presence.

A rigid aluminium Dibond backing is bonded to the rear, providing long term stability and ensuring the work remains perfectly flat at this scale.

The final result is a piece that feels less like a photograph and more like an architectural object.

This edition is produced at 140 × 105 cm, approximately 55 × 41 inches.

At this scale, the work is designed to hold a wall confidently. It reads clearly from distance, yet reveals nuance and texture as you move closer. This size and finish will not be repeated for this image.
